Last week, Hurricane Helene made landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast as a Category 4 hurricane before moving inland, bringing catastrophic flooding and damaging winds from Florida throughout the southeastern US This widespread destruction has already resulted in the death of at least 200 individuals.
