Woman seriously injured in shooting in southeast Wichita

Woman seriously injured in shooting in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Wichita woman is in critical but stable condition after a shooting early Saturday morning.

Wichita police confirmed that officers were dispatched to the intersection of Harry and Rock around 2:45 a.m. Saturday for a report of shots fired.

A short time later, a 19-year-old woman walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound to her head.

WPD is currently investigating what led to the shooting.
