A CNN election guru has said Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris is facing a historic problem and her campaign is “looking more like a loser.”

The stunning comment came Friday, according to the Daily Mail, when CNN journalist Harry Enten highlighted to host John Berman a recent poll showing that only a small percentage of respondents think the United States is on the right track.

“If we look at whether voters think we’re on the right track or the wrong track, I think this poses a problem for Kamala Harris’ campaign,” Enten said. “Only 28% of Americans think the US is on the right track.”

This is evident from a study by the Cook Political Report, according to Enten.

Enten then gave a stunning take on the Harris campaign: “The bottom line is that it looks a lot more like a loser than a winner,” he said.

Harris is competing against former Republican President Donald Trump in the race for the White House this year. Harris leads in many national polls.

Enten said his analysis shows that no presidential party has won a second term since at least 1980, yet so few Americans believe the country is on the right track.

“So there is no historical precedent for the White House party winning another term in the White House, when only 28% of the country thinks we are on the right track,” Enten said.

“Simply put,” Enten said, “it would be historically unprecedented.”

He said, ‘Look through history, right – ’96, ’88, ’04, ’12, ’84 – in all these cases, in all these cases, far more than 28% thought the country was on the right track was. .”

He said, “Thirty-nine (percent) was the lowest in 1996. We got over 47% in ’84, of course that was a blow to Ronald Reagan.”
