Swift may soon be able to succeed Rihanna, who previously held the title of “richest musician of all time,” with a peak net worth of $1.77 billion.

Forbes verified the information by providing an update on Swift’s financial situation following the historic success of her Eras Tour.

According to Forbes, $600 million of Swift’s wealth comes from earnings and royalties from her tours, another $600 million from the value of her music library, and $125 million from real estate investments.

Swift also reportedly earned $100 million in royalties from Spotify streaming alone in 2023, largely from her 2022 album “Midnights” and her 2023 re-recording of “1989,” “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”

A look at Swift’s wealth and her upcoming tours

Unlike several other musicians, Swift’s wealth comes exclusively from her musical career. She is the only artist in history to achieve a 10-figure net worth primarily through album sales and live appearances, rather than her business activities.

She reached billionaire status for the first time in October 2023.

His Eras Tour is expected to end at the end of this year, after completing the European leg in August. Before ending the Eras tour in Canada at the beginning of December, she will begin her last stop in the United States on October 18.

The pop sensation recently endorsed US Vice President Kamala Harris in the race for the White House, blasting Donald Trump, who said the artist would “pay the price”.

In her statement, the singer criticized Trump for posting his fictitious AI images claiming to be supported by the singer and her supporters.

Following this, an upset Trump declared on social media: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
