The first official screening in Britain of Scarer 3 has resulted in nine people walking out in the opening scene alone, with one person confirmed to have puked so far.

The upcoming slasher film sees fans eagerly awaiting the gory scenes, which promise to surpass the insane level of gore in the first two.

Director Damien Leone has spoken out in the past about the fact that the film’s opening scene is so bloody and gruesome that Hollywood wouldn’t finance it.

He said: “I met studios, like legitimate Hollywood studios, who wanted to make Scarer 3.

“But before I even had a script, I was just having meetings and I felt like I was going to have eyes over my shoulders, and they were concerned about the level of bloodshed and this and that.

“I knew they weren’t going to let me make this movie based on the first five pages. That’s how insane Terrifier 3 is.

The PR team behind it Scarer 3 have confirmed exclusively to LADbible that there were a total of eleven walkouts during last night’s screening, nine during the opening scene, and one fan who threw up.

Damien claimed the opening scene was so gruesome that Hollywood would ‘never’ let him film it.

“Mark my words,” he said. ‘I guarantee you that the first five minutes of this film will be very controversial.

“But that’s not even the big murder scene. That’s why I thought: I just have to make this movie on my own, because it’s too insane.”

“If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part two was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.”

The film currently sits at 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, thanks to reviews coming in from horror festivals where the film was shown, and has been well received across the board.

Alison Foreman of indieWire said the film will be great for existing fans of the gory franchise, saying: “Scarer 3 decorates the halls with a triumphant celebration that is gruesome for all the right reasons, and showcases what Leone does exceptionally well.

“That may or may not convince people, but it shouldn’t lose repeat customers.”

Dexerto’s Chris Tilly said of the film in their four-star review: “Scarer 3 is the best More frightening film to date, and one that turns murder into an art form.”

If blood, guts and gore are your thing, it seems Scarer 3 and the return of Art The Clown is a must watch.

Terrifier 3 will be released in cinemas in the UK on October 11.
