Final Gow hearing scheduled for later this month

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) – The former chancellor of UW-La Crosse will argue later this month if he can stay at the university as a professor.

The UW System Board of Regents will hear arguments from both representatives from UW-La Crosse and Gow on September 20th in Madison.

This comes after current UW-La Crosse Chancellor James Beeby’s recommendation to dismiss Gow from his tenured faculty position.

Dr. Gow was previously terminated from his position as chancellor after the Board of Regents learned Gow and his wife produced and appeared in pornographic videos.
