Community invited to free Recovery is Beautiful Festival

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County (MHRSB) and the Thomas M. Wernert Center are hosting a festival in honor of Recovery Month on Saturday, September 14.

The festival starts at 11:00 am and runs until 2:00 pm at the Wernert Center Campus on Woodruff Avenue. Admission is free and there will be food trucks, games, karaoke, bingo and other fun activities for people of all ages.

The festival is held in honor of National Recovery Month, which takes place each September to promote and support new, evidence-based treatment and recovery practices.
